I was born in Alaska where I learned to love the outdoors. I have lived in Hawaii, Colorado, Washington, Montana, Minnesota, and Arizona.

I was born and raised in Alaska. I then moved to Hawaii to pursue my college education. I transfered to the University of Northern Colorado where I received my BA. I attended Washington State University where I received my Masters Degree in Speech and Hearing Science. After five years of government audiology service I enrolled at the University of Arizona to pursue my doctorate degree. I subsequently moved to Sierra Vista where I completed my doctorate degree at the Arizona School of Health Sciences.
In my spare time I make knives and jewelry. You might even find me kilted on Celtic Holidays at the office or at the highland games.
